Andrew S. Kohlberg
Founder and President
Andrew Kohlberg provides strategic planning and direction for property operations and develops leadership talent. He also identifies potential new acquisitions, development opportunities and strategic alliances. In addition to his role as president of Kisco Senior Living, Mr. Kohlberg is the Managing Principal of Kisco Real Estate Holdings LP, and supervises family investments in real estate.
Mitchell K. Brown
Executive Vice President
Mr. Brown manages Kisco Development LLC, the development arm for Kisco Senior Living. He also serves on the company’s senior leadership team with a focus on strategic planning and asset management. Kisco is a privately held developer, owner and manager of senior housing with a portfolio of over 3,000 units in six states. Over the past 12 years, Kisco Development has completed over $300 million in new additions to Kisco’s portfolio. These projects include new senior living campuses with independent, congregate and assisted living ranging from 160 to over 300 units as well as age qualified apartment communities up to 265 units.
Terri Novak
Executive Vice President of Operations
Terri Novak oversees the day-to-day operations of Kisco’s communities, and is responsible for more than $100 million in revenue and 1,600 associates. She develops programs to monitor and improve all aspects of customer satisfaction for residents and their families. Ms. Novak has more than 25 years of management experience, with more than 18 of those years focused in leadership positions in the senior housing and healthcare industries.
Brenda Post
Vice President of Human Resources
Brenda Post leads the Human Resources team to implement programs, policies and practices to enhance associate satisfaction, residence satisfaction, reduce turnover, and create a great place to work for all associates. As Vice President of Human Resources for Kisco Senior Living, Ms. Post is responsible for the development of HR strategy, organizational effectiveness and developing people. She has more than 20 years experience in the human resources development arena, with an expertise in organizational and team effectiveness, leadership development, and managing change.
Kimberly Hynek
Chief Financial Officer
Kimberly Hynek is responsible for providing oversight to relationships with lenders, investors and other concerned parties, assisting with development of capital investors, analysis and pro forma modeling of acquisition and development opportunities, oversight of Information Systems, Accounting & Finance, and Risk Services. She is responsible for the financial management of 24 communities in six states with over $100 million in revenue. Ms. Hynek has more than 19 years of experience in the senior living industry with more than 15 of those years focused in leadership positions in Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance.
