(Walnut Creek, CA) – December 22, 2014 – Byron Park will begin accepting coats on behalf of One Warm Coat, a program that provides tools and resources to organize coat drives, and connects with local agencies to distribute donated coats. Gifts will be accepted beginning Monday, December 22nd through Saturday, January 10th. Donors are encouraged to drop off gently used coats at the community in all sizes and for all ages, any time between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day of the week. The coats collected during the drive will be given to the Pittsburg Unified School District and for children in need.
(As part of its ongoing community commitment, this is Byron Park’s third year collecting coats for One Warm Coat.
