Dear Residents and Families of Abbotswood at Stonehenge,
I want to share with you the latest test results plus a couple of brief updates about in-apartment
visits and our dining room reopening.
This week, a total of 191 residents, essential visitors, private duty caregivers and associates of
Abbotswood, Aware and Legacy were tested via individual nasal swabs for COVID-19. Again, I
am very pleased to let you know that there were no positive test results! Thank you for your
ongoing diligence in participating in our testing program.
The next opportunity for community-wide testing will be Monday, April 19th. Residents will be
tested via nasal swab in their apartments beginning at 9:00 am on Monday. All non-residents
(associates, essential visitors and caregivers) will be tested via an individual nasal swab test in
the Club Room between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Mondays are currently the only opportunity for
testing at the community each week so please make every effort to participate. As stated in my
previous letter, we are monitoring and evaluating participation levels on a weekly basis and will
adjust our testing program as necessary to adhere to recommended testing guidelines. Your
cooperation with our testing program is much appreciated.
To maintain the safety of our residents and community, we are requesting that visitors provide
proof of vaccination if desiring to visit with a resident in their apartment. Proof can be provided
by presenting your vaccine card upon arrival at the community or by emailing a copy/photo of
it to ash.reception@kiscosl.com. That information is recorded in a spreadsheet that we keep
for reference for future visits. Please note that vaccinations are not required for indoor visits at
our visitation station or for outdoor visits.
We are continuing to make the happy adjustment to a busy dining room! This transition is still
very much a work in progress, so please communicate to us any challenges you or your loved
one may be encountering in the current dining environment, whether eating in the dining room
or in an apartment. Abbotswood and Aware are working together to enhance the dining
experience for our residents, so let us know how we can help. Your patience is appreciated as
we get everyone settled into a new dining routine.
If you have questions about the testing process, visitation requirements or our dining
operations, please reach out to a front desk customer service representative, our Resident
Relations Director (Emily.Castellanos@kiscosl.com) or me for assistance. Thank you for your
support of our community!
