Dining Services DirectorAdrian’s passion and inspiration for cooking came from his mother, who is a talented pastry chef in his home town in Mexico. In high school, Adrian and his friend opened their own food truck in their neighborhood, saving enough money to come to the United States as an international student and pursue his dream of becoming a chef. During his culinary studies, Adrian honed his skills in fine dining restaurants in New Orleans. After graduating with an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a degree in Pastry Arts at Delgado Community College, Adrian worked in a variety of small restaurants before transitioning to working in hotel dining in New Orleans at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans, JW Marriott, and Hyatt Regency.
