Dear Residents, Families, and Associates of Cedarwood at Sandy;
Thank you for your continued support as we monitor the ongoing Coronavirus situation. The health and wellbeing of our residents, associates, and their families are of utmost importance and priority to all of us.
As you know, we are committed to identifying any potential “issues” as they arise. To that end we are moving proactively to test 25% of our associates every two weeks. If a positive case of Covid-19 is identified, we will move immediately to 100% associate testing.
I wanted to let you know that we’ve identified an associate who has tested positive. This associate had very minimal interaction with a very limited number of residents and was wearing the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during this time. This associate remains offsite and will not return until they are cleared.
Because of this, we are testing all associates as well as any 3rd party providers that are onsite. We will also test any potentially-exposed residents along with any resident who would like to be tested (there will be no charge for this).
Out of an abundance of caution, we will reschedule our planned barbecue, but all other operations will remain “as-is”.
