Dear Cypress Court Residents and Families:
As we move into the New Year, we have great news to share – we have had no residents with positive COVID results for two weeks! Considering the pandemic in and around our greater community this is indeed a miraculous feat!
How did we do it? By following our Kisco Confidence protocols which include regular and consistent sanitation measures across all departments; weekly COVID PCR testing of all residents and associates that enable us to immediately identify positive cases and respond accordingly; wearing masks, six-foot social distancing and handwashing, hand-sanitizing with frequency round-out the corner stones of our pledge to keep our residents, associates, and visitors safe.
Our residents are no longer in quarantine with in-person activities resuming – socially distanced of course! Activities such as group exercise, our workout center and family lounge visits have “made the day” for our residents. We will be opening our Dining Room at Cypress Court with limited seating on Monday, February 1st.
We are also excited to announce that our residents and associates will be receiving their vaccines starting on Monday, January 25th. Walgreens will be providing the Pfizer vaccine that will also include clinics to be conducted on February 15th and March 8th.
With time, we look forward to 2021 being much different than 2020. With the vaccine our residents and staff will have protection they do not currently have. Once all vaccines are completed, we will be able to open more robust activity programming and resume a full array of transportation services while at the same time continuing to observe our sanitation safety protocols – these will be with us for many months to come which will continue to support the health and well-being of everyone within our community.
So, here’s to 2021…. may it be a year of peace, unity and of resolve to end this pandemic once and for all.
