Dear Residents, Associates, and Family Members of Drake Terrace:
I am very happy to share that after discussing our situation with Marin Public Health the quarantine for Memory Care and Assisted Living has been lifted. Please note that if we identify any positive residents in assisted living during our surveillance testing, we may have to quarantine again.
As a reminder, our covid guidelines are not an off and on switch but more like a dimmer. Residents may now while wearing their masks and walk the hallways, common areas and the courtyard. Residents can also now pick of their mail.
Family visits are by appointment only and on the outside designated areas. I understand that it has been quite some time since we last had outside visits, but I still would recommend postponing visits until after the first dose of the vaccine is administered next Thursday. It is more critical than ever to wear a mask throughout the entire visit as the vaccine will not be administered to any residents who are positive on the day of the clinic.
What will continue to be postponed will be small group activities and the indoor dining experience. If all goes well with next week’s testing, then the week after we may open the dining room and small group activities.
Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Thank You,
Ricardo Romero
