Dear Residents, Families, and Friends of Emerald Court:
We wanted to share some good news today. Our resident who had a positive Covid test, has recently tested and the result was negative. We are very happy to say that this resident seems to be doing well. Thanks to the care staff who have been working hard. This means, starting tomorrow, 7/6/20, residents in the Sapphire building will be able to check their mail, walk around inside the community and get some Vitamin D in the internal courtyard.
Wearing a mask is still a must when you are out of your apartment. Please make sure that you are wearing your mask properly, which is covering your nose and mouth. We want to also remind you to continue washing your hands frequently with soap and warm water, staying physically distanced from other people, and get your temperature checked each day.
On Monday and Tuesday of this week, we will be testing residents in Assisted Living. We will also be offering tests for Independent Living residents starting Wednesday through Friday. Please check Ch. 1390 for the test times. Tests will be administered in the KQ Room in the Emerald Building for Independent Living residents. Assisted Living residents, we will go to your apartments.
As of today, all the associates have been tested for Covid19. So far, 80% of the test results have been received and those tests have been negative. We will continue to update you when changes occur.
Thank you for your continuing support.
