Our test results from Tuesday, February 16th testing have been delayed due to weather and mail delivery service.
Thank you all for your participation in Monday’s Vaccine Clinic! What an accomplishment for the community and one step closer to getting back to some semblance of normalcy for us. I have received a lot of questions this week with regards to what is next for us in the coming weeks. As I continue to receive guidance from Kisco aligned with CDC guidelines, I will update you as we make small changes to help us move in this direction. One thing is for sure, we will continue to wear our masks, wash our hands, and practice social distancing as this continues to be our best line of defense.
The first step is to reopen the Chesapeake Dining Room, we are targeting March 10th as our grand reopening and will have details on seating times and logistics in the upcoming weeks. In order for us to reset the Dining Room and prepare for reopening, we will need to relocate our weekly COVID testing. After careful consideration, the decision has been made to relocate testing to the Montpelier Room on Mondays and Thursdays starting this Monday, February 22nd. The times will remain the same.
We have kicked off our Resident Satisfaction Survey and have already had 50% participation. In the coming week we will be catching those that we were unable to assist at Monday’s vaccine Clinic. If you have not taken your survey, please come down to the Front Desk at your convenience and we will assist you. Again, this survey allows us to receive valuable feedback and opportunities to consider ways in which we can enhance community life through our services.

I would like to take an opportunity to remind everyone that we still need to ensure we are signing up for the laundry rooms. Please continue to utilize the sign-up sheets and designated times to reserve the washers and dryers as your fellow neighbors rely on this when planning their schedules.

*Essential Visitors: To ensure your test can be completed we ask that you bring your social security number and your insurance cards with you to the testing if you did not do so last week.
