Aloha Residents, Families and Loved Ones,
The last 10-months have been a constant effort in safety diligence, patience and change! All of you have been wonderful in your support and appreciation during this trying time.
We would like to provide the following updates:
- Guest Visitation WITHOUT the Covid-19 saliva test
- Reservations made with the Front Desk
- Available 7-days a week between 8:00am and 10:00am
- Visit location will be the outdoor poolside lanai using the plexiglass shielded table.
- As we will not have guest dining on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day visitation hours on these dates are extended to 9:00am to 3:00pm. During these visits you must check-in with the Reception Desk, take the temperature check, complete the health screening questionnaire, wear your face mask, maintain 6-feet of social distancing, not have physical contact with the resident and use the table with the plexiglass shield.
- Guest Visitation and Dining Program
- This program has been available since beginning December 2020 where guests may have a meal with residents and have a task-specific visit to their apartment.
- No change from the original program details which involve a Covid-19 saliva test, please reference the letter dated November 19th.
- No guest dining on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
- Resident and Associate Covid-19 Vaccinations
- CVS (Longs Drugs) has been selected as our pharmacy partner for the Covid-19 vaccine clinics which will be held at our community.
- The Moderna vaccine will be used which is administered in two (2) doses 28-days apart.
- There is no charge for the vaccination.
- Our community is part of the Phase 1A distribution of the vaccine which starts with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities followed by other Long-term Care Communities.
- CVS has not advised us of our scheduled clinics or the details of the vaccination. Another letter will be sent to you when these details are confirmed.
- WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE VACCINATION…this vaccination is most effective when we have everyone’s participation.
- Holiday Meals
- There will be no guest dining on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.
- Guest visitations, without dining, will still be available.
- Our Residents will be able to enjoy special Holiday meals.
- Christmas dinner will be a choice of Filet Mignon and Prawns or Papillote Steamed Fish with vegetables
- New Year’s Eve dinner will be a choice of Prime Rib or a Chirashi sushi bowl
