This community is so beautiful and well-maintained. The grounds and layout are amazing for accessibility, privacy and enjoying green spaces. Courtney and Inna are very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming to people looking for a place to call home with extra support and care. My parents have been living at First Colonial Inn for 5 months now and we are extremely pleased with the care, support and professionalism of the staff there. Inna was great at answering all of our questions and helping us get them situated in their new place. They have settled in nicely and feel a strong sense of community and camaraderie. The staff was so pleasant. Talking to all the residents. It was so clean and cheerful in the building and outside was so peaceful. Lots of places to sit and relax and talk. The apartment was very nice and accommodating.

First Colonial Inn, and specifically Charles Waddell, the Sales Director, were a godsend when I found myself on short notice needing to find somewhere for my mother to live following a hospital discharge. Despite feeling very rushed, I was determined not to settle for the first place I saw and nothing felt right until I met with Charles at FCI. He was so kind, thorough, and patient in touring the facilities with me and answering all my questions, and has proven to be an accurate predictor of the overall vibe which is so laid back and friendly, unlike many of the places I looked where people often seemed sad and angry. First Colonial Inn is small and intimate feeling, while being large enough to provide an epic panel of activities for residents. The food is actually very good and they have a variety of seasonally changing menu items in addition to the daily specials. They even have a special computer system that tracks any food allergies or preferences (such as my mother’s “low salt” request) when they put in the order so the info is automatically relayed to the kitchen. It really feels like the employees, from the kitchen to the front desk, care about their jobs and about being good at them, which they are!

I don't know where to begin.  Everyone there is so friendly and attentive. The place is clean and nice.  The food is good.  And, most importantly, all the residents seem really happy there. I mean, c'mon, what's not to like.
