Dear Residents & Families,
Magnolia Glen has been committed since the beginning of this pandemic to practice open communication regarding any information that impacts our operations or the safety and well-being of our community. This promise of open communication will continue as we navigate these unprecedented times.
My most recent communication was sent on June 20th and it involved the news that one resident had tested positive for COVID-19 at Magnolia Glen. I am happy to report the resident is currently doing well and in good spirits. This resident will continue to be quarantined until the 14-day period is over and a negative COVID test is received. I am grateful to this resident for following the proper reporting guidelines and keeping the exposure risk extremely limited from the community at large.
It is critical to remind everyone that the scientific data shows preventative measures such as hand washing and wearing face coverings over the nose and mouth are effective ways to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and Magnolia Glen by lowering the risk of exposure to COVID-19. Please be mindful that our safety protocols are still in place during the Safer-at-Home Phase II extension in North Carolina, which has been extended until at least Friday, July 17th. Magnolia Glen will continue to follow all proper protocols and restrictions that have been put in place by Governor Cooper’s orders, local regulatory agencies, the CDC, and Kisco Senior Living.
I will continue to provide frequent updates on our current active case until it has been deemed resolved by the Wake County Department of Public Health as well as any future active cases.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do for you.
Sincerely,
Jaime Pacheco
