Matthew was born and raised in Orange County, California and began volunteering at 16 years old at Saddleback Memorial Hospital where he was discharging patients, running labs, and delivering food trays. In High School, he took several courses to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Responder and Emergency Medical Technician which inspired him to continue his education to become a Nurse. After high school, Matthew immediately enrolled in an LVN program to become a Nurse and follow his passion. Matthew began his career as a Caregiver, and has since worked as a  Med-Tech, Resident Care Coordinator, LVN Clinical Coordinator/Administrator for a Hospice, Health Services Director, and Regional Health Services Specialist. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, going to Disneyland, and spending time with my family and friends. Matthew’s goal is to provide a welcoming and lively experience to the residents at Valencia Terrace with person-centered care plans.
