(Kapolei, HI) – October 3, 2014
Kisco Senior Living is excited to announce the opening of the Information Center for ‘Ilima at Leihano, a new full service senior living community in the center of Kapolei. The opening of the Information Center kicks off pre-leasing activities for ‘Ilima which is under construction on an adjacent 3.8 acre site within the 40 acre Leihano mixed use community. The center gives prospective residents the opportunity to imagine what their future community and individual residence will feel like when completed.
Upon entering the Information Center, visitors will first meet sales directors Linda Peacock and Valerie Rickard. Together, they bring more than 25 years of experience in the senior living industry with additional expertise in property development and management. Both Peacock and Rickard are focused on helping future ‘Ilima residents understand the living options, services and accommodations that will be available in this new community which will offer independent and assisted living as well as a specially designed area for memory care.
Peacock says, “We are very eager to show off the new Center. Visitors can actually see what the new community will look like, and most importantly, an example of the interior space of their future home.”
The entire community will be licensed for assisted living offering residents the support they need at every stage of life without having to move or downsize to a new home. Unlike many senior living communities, ‘Ilima’s larger residences and range of services will enable couples to live together even as their individual needs change.
Residents can further customize their experience by choosing between graciously proportioned studio, one- or two-bedroom floor plans. Independent and assisted living floor plans will include private lanais, kitchenettes, and spacious living areas and bedrooms. Memory care residences are private apartments located in a specially designed household setting with large common areas connected to a secure outdoor garden.
While the community’s accommodations set it apart from other communities, it’s Kisco Senior Living’s award-winning The Art of Living Well℠ philosophy that makes ‘Ilima “home.” The heart of the wellness program is the fitness center lead by skilled professionals at the ready to create customized and thoughtful health plans. The same philosophy extends into all of the offered services and programs.
The community is finished with an airy, main-level lanai, which creates the perfect setting for catching up with friends and family or for quietly escaping into a new book. The lanai looks out onto four lush acres located away from busy streets yet connected to the surrounding neighborhood via walking paths and colorful gardens. The Leihano community is walking distance from numerous shopping centers, Kapolei Regional Park, the Kapolei Library and other supportive services. Included in the monthly fee will be schedule transportation to downtown Honolulu, the new West Oahu Queens Medical Center, Ko Olina Resort and other destinations.
‘Ilima at Leihano is currently accepting fully refundable priority deposits and has, thus far, secured nearly 50 reservations. The community is anticipated to open in the fall of 2015. Learn more about ‘Ilima at Leihano by visiting the Information Center at 891 Kama’aha Avenue, Suite 101, Kapolei. Contact the community at 888-585-4335 or log on to www.ilimaatleihano.com.
It will have 165 independent living residences, plus 60 on-site, private apartments licensed for assisted living, memory care and nursing care. The project, located on the south end of the North Hills Park District, is being developed by and will be managed by California-based Kisco Senior Living.
