La Posada Awarded 5-Star Rating by Nursing Home Compare 8th Year in a Row

(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) – February 24, 2015
La Posada, a Kisco Senior Living continuing care retirement community located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, has been awarded a 5-Star rating for its exceptional nursing care division by Nursing Home Compare. As part of its full continuum of care, La Posada maintains 40-Medicare-certified, private, skilled-nursing suites. This is the 8th consecutive year La Posada has earned Nursing Home Compare’s 5-Star rating.
5-Star Nursing Home Compare ratings are based on total scores in the categories of Overall Quality, Health Inspection, Quality Measures, Staffing and Registered Nurse Staffing. La Posada received an overall rating of 5 stars due to the well-above average number of hours its nursing associates devote to community residents, the low percentage of residents who self-reported moderate to severe pain, and the low percentage of residents who experienced falls and infections, among other measures.
La Posada has been a mainstay in Palm Beach Gardens to both seniors and the community for more than a decade. The reason for its success can be traced to the community’s enriched resident-centric lifestyle drawn from thoughtful details that make up Kisco’s core values.
La Posada Executive Director Brad Cadiere says, “Our nursing associates are passionate about listening, learning and caring about each and every resident, and now that’s been proven year after year. The satisfaction they receive by keeping our residents healthy and happy is reward enough, however, this honor is sweet icing on the cake.”
In addition to nursing care, La Posada includes 182 independent residences and 11 villas, 30 assisted living apartments and 18 memory care apartments. The campus is situated on 22 acres conveniently located near the PGA National Resort and Spa, and the sandy beaches located in Palm Beach, Singer Island and Jupiter. The community plans to expand its studio, one- and two-bedroom options to include residences that will cater to both individuals and couples that are independent at heart and need minor daily living assistance. Construction of the apartment homes is planned to begin toward the end of 2015.
