Rimrock Construction, along with Kisco Senior Living, Western States Lodging and Management, Beecher Walker Architects and GGLO Architecture will be honored Tuesday, December 8 at the Utah Construction & Design 2015 Most Outstanding Projects’ Awards Event. The group won in the category of “Private Over $10 Million” for Sagewood at Daybreak, a Kisco Senior Living community.
“Rimrock Construction is honored to receive such a distinguished award for the Sagewood project at Daybreak. The ownership, management and design team were professional and refreshing to work with. This project being the recipient of this award is a direct representation of the entire team’s talents, integrity, and abilities,” said Mark Hampton, principal of Rimrock Construction.
Sagewood is centrally located in the Daybreak community on a 5.9 acre site within walking distance of SoDa Row, Trax, and the new University of Utah Medical Center. The 235,000 square foot campus features four levels of living options: 99 independent living apartment homes, 55 assisted living apartment homes and two intimate, “households,” each with 23 private accommodations for residents needing more extensive assisted living and memory care.
“The Rimrock team was involved in the project from preconstruction through completion. Throughout the process they were proactive and put the quality of the work first. They also worked very well with our team of architects—Salt Lake City based Beecher Walker and Seattle based GGLO. We are all very proud of the finished project and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again,” said Mitch Brown, Chief Development Officer for Kisco.
