Dear Resident, Families, and Associates,
The Fountains had a wonderful “11th of July” patriotic celebration. About 100 residents came out to enjoy the festivities while following social distance guidelines and wearing a face-mask. Many residents had front row seats for the live music and fireworks display from their patios. We had great weather with no rain this year. We look forward to next years celebration on July 10th, 2021 and are hopeful we can invite friends and family again like we did last year.
We have been successful in adding many activities back into our resident’s daily lives by working around our meal delivery service. This has helped to open the community so residents can have some fun with friends, take part in programing they enjoy or do whatever they like and then for safety reasons residents dine in their apartments. Residents have done a great job returning to their apartments for lunch and dinner service. We will continue to run our programing and meals as is until our local area trend of
positive cases go down.
The Fountains recently had another round of all staff testing and I am happy to report we had no new cases of COVID-19 at this time.
Here is the breakdown:
Total number of associates at The Fountains is 143.
Total number of associates who have tested negative is 116.
Total number of associates testing somewhere else for a variety of reasons is 8.
Total number of associates who are staying home due to possible exposure is 12.
Total number of associates who have tested positive is 7.
The 7 associates that tested positive in June are all doing well and waiting for their two sets of negative results separated by 24 hours to return to work.
We continue to have no residents that have tested positive for COVID-19 at this time.
We operate guided by the CDC and are monitoring all residents and associates daily.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate through these unusual circumstances together.
Sandra Garutti, Executive Director
