Dear Residents, Families, Associates, and Friends of The Fountains;
Weekly we receive the results of our community pooled saliva testing. There are no residents or private caregivers that tested positive for COVID-19 at this time. We did receive a positive result in one of our associate testing pools. We completed PCR tests on all associates in that group. One of our wellness associates has tested positive for COVID-19. We conducted our internal investigation to include contact tracing and determined the associate acted responsibly.
Thankfully The Fountains is testing residents, associates and resident private care staff for COVID-19 twice weekly to slow/stop the spread, should someone have COVID-19. We will continue testing twice weekly until after the busy holiday season is over.
The Fountains provides weekly pooled saliva testing to all residents, associates and resident private care staff at no charge. This community expense is well worth it to keep our residents and associates safe during this global pandemic. Weekly testing has helped us give our residents peace of mind as they enjoy an independent lifestyle inside and outside the community.
Our residents continue to enjoy dining in one of our three beautiful restaurants, a wide variety of events and activities available daily, a robust fitness calendar and gym for all ability levels, the outdoor raised gardens and our 3/4 mile Cypress Trail walking path, to name a few.
