Dear Woodland Terrace Residents, Families, and Associates,
Thank you for your continuing support and understanding during the ongoing Coronavirus situation. Throughout this pandemic I have stated that our goal is to have continuous open conversations regarding any updates, changes, or alerts that involve the operations, safety, and well-being of our community. With this promise of this transparency in mind, I have an important update to share with our Woodland Terrace family.
An associate at Woodland Terrace has tested positive for COVID-19. The associate is quarantined at home and will not return to Woodland Terrace until after 14 days from the latest date of potential exposure, is symptom free and cleared by health officials following the required number of negative tests. The associate, whose job at the community does not involve direct contact with any residents, was informed of possible exposure to someone with COVID-19 while off-duty and has not returned to Woodland Terrace since. We appreciate the associate alerting us immediately and following our protocols to limit exposure to residents and other associates.
Community
As a community, we continue to follow all the proper protocols and restrictions that have been put in place by the Governor’s orders, local regulatory agencies, the CDC, and Kisco Senior Living. As we are required to do, we will be reporting this case to local regulatory agencies. Should this situation or future situations require it, we will adjust our protocols and restrictions to provide our community with the appropriate level of safety.
I will continue to keep you regularly updated regarding this situation and other important information. Thank you for your continued support. We continue to offer our positive thoughts and prayers for everyone during this pandemic situation.
Sincerely,
Matt Towler,
Executive Director, Woodland Terrace
