Dear Residents, Families, Friends, and Associates of Park Plaza;
Throughout this Covid-19 pandemic I have endeavored to remain transparent and to inform you as conditions change. Consistent with that commitment to transparency, I am writing today to inform you that an associate who was last at work on Tuesday July 7th has tested positive for Covid-19. This individual did not work during the immediately preceding days prior to July 7th, and we have investigated for potential exposure during the hours they spent working on that day (July 7th). At this time, we have not identified any additional potential exposure (using the CDC definition of “prolonged close contact”).
As dictated by the State of California, we will move to a cycle of testing all residents and associates every 14 days until such time as we’ve had two cycles of testing without any positive Covid cases. This testing will begin this week (additional details forthcoming).
We will continue to provide you with updates as any new information is received and we remind everyone of the importance of the following 4 pillars of safety:
– Wash your hands frequently
– Monitor your health for any identified Covid symptoms
– WEAR A MASK!!
– Stay socially-distant from others (at least 6′)
Thank you for your continued support. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hoggan
Executive Director
