Dear Residents & Family of Magnolia Glen,
Magnolia Glen completed our first of three COVID-19 vaccine clinics on January 20th. We are extremely excited to continue our partnership with Walgreens to facilitate what we expect to be another successful vaccine clinic on February 17th.
The team at Magnolia Glen is diligently preparing all the details to ensure the process is well-organized and efficient. As part of that preparation, each person that receives a vaccination on February 17th is required to complete a Vaccination Administration Record (VAR) even if they completed a VAR for the January 20th clinic. In other words, a VAR is required for each time a shot is administered. If you would like a blank copy of the VAR please see the front desk or let me know and I can send an electronic copy to you.
Walgreens will be visiting each assisted living resident in their room. The vaccination schedule for independent living residents will be as follows:
February 17th
9:00am-10:30am………………. Independent Living Floor 1 & Cottages
10:30am-12:00pm………………………………. Independent Living Floor 2
12:45pm- 2:00pm……………………………..… Independent Living Floor 3
2:00pm-3:30pm………………………………….. Independent Living Floor 4
3:30pm-5:00pm…………………………………… Independent Living Floor 5
Thank you to everyone for your work in completing the VARs before your scheduled time slot and/or submitting the completed VAR to Magnolia Glen. We will ensure any previously submitted VARs are appropriately managed so that each resident has the opportunity to be vaccinated successfully.
