Happy Friday everyone!
It’s been so nice to see many of you here at Sagewood recently. It’s been great to return to some type of normalcy. There have been a few questions relative to our visiting protocol so I’d like to share details about this. Visitors who have been vaccinated are able to visit in resident’s apartments, dine in the dining room, and join us for wellness programming. So basically, there are no visiting restrictions for those who are fully vaccinated. We still require masks to be worn when visiting and ask that we all practice social distancing.
One recent change includes the protocol for those under the age of 14. Children under the age of 14 can now visit when they are accompanied by someone who has been vaccinated.
Those who have not been fully vaccinated can still visit in the safe visiting areas we have set up in two different areas at Sagewood. The other option for those who have not received the vaccine would be to participate in our weekly testing. This is a simple process and once the results are received, you would be able to visit within a 24-hour time frame face to face with your loved one.
Let me know if there are any questions relative to the visitation guidelines. Again, we are so happy to be able to see you all more frequently.
This Sunday, the 25th of April, we will be re-surfacing and striping the parking lot near the beauty salon. All cars parked in this lot will need to be moved by Saturday at 5:00 pm. Cars can be moved back to parking lot on Tuesday morning, the 27th of April.
This coming Friday, the 30th of April, we will be celebrating the onset of spring with a concert in the courtyard. Shaun Barrowes will be returning to Sagewood and we’ll have some fun beginning at 2:15 PM in the Independent Living courtyard.
We are excited to invite you all to our Mother’s Day Event on Sunday, May 9th. The details of this event are listed below:
