Hello everyone,
California has reopened!
What does that mean for us? Well, though people are not needing to wear a mask in much of the state, at Long Term Care facilities, like Park Terrace, everyone is required to wear a mask at this time. Wearing a mask for residents is voluntary.
I’m sure you have been hearing about the slight uptick in CoVID cases, and I am expecting the cases to rise in the next few weeks with the “Reopening” of the state. There is also a concern about a “Delta Variant” that seems to be much more transmissible than previous variants. We will have to wait and see how this plays out.
We continue to PCR test all residents and associates every other week and thus far have had no new COVID cases (knock on wood).
The road, Buena Suerte, finally closed for water pipe work. Our entrance is still open from Santa Margarita Parkway.
Father’s Day is this Sunday, and we have barbecue food for everyone and a special Birthday Cake for our 21st Birthday! Many families who would like to attend have been asking when they should take a PCR test. Friday before 2:00pm is the answer I have been giving.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your loved ones.
