Dear Residents and Families of Emerald Court,
We hope that you are doing well. We understand how difficult it has been for everyone and appreciate everyone’s support during these challenging times.
From my last letter, we have had an additional two residents and two associates test positive for COVID. We are on the downward trend of this virus surge, and we remain positive that this will continue.
With the infection rate decline, I am happy to announce that activities and outings will resume next week. We will continue to be cautious and offer smaller group activities with a limited number of participants. We hope to facilitate bigger group activities the following week.
Additionally, next week, we will no longer require the scheduled visitations at designated areas. However, the California Public Health visitation guideline is still in effect through February 7th: visitors are required to be vaccinated, boosted, and show proof of a negative COVID test to visit indoors. Individuals who are not vaccinated must show proof of a negative COVID test to visit in our outdoor front patio. All visitors must continue to wear a surgical or stronger mask that we can provide.
We are preparing to open our dining rooms starting with dinner service on Tuesday, February 8th! We welcome your feedback. and continue to address your concerns. Sal Herrera and Nancy Romero are focused on staff training, as well as reviewing the menu, quality, and service delivery. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we improve your dining experience.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
With Gratitude,
Daizel and the Emerald Court Team
