Kisco Senior Living is pleased to announce the addition of The Preston of Rockville, a senior living community in Rockville, MD, to its portfolio as of June 23, 2025. Formerly The Seneca Rockville, the community was previously owned by Silverstone Senior Living and has now been acquired by Kisco. This expansion reinforces Kisco’s commitment to delivering exceptional senior living through personalized care, wellness-focused programs, and a hospitality-driven approach. The Preston will become part of Kisco’s Lifestyle communities, recognized for their high standards of service, innovative offerings, and dedication to creating vibrant, engaging environments for residents.
“At The Preston, we are committed to fostering an environment that enables our residents to live with purpose and enjoy every moment,” said Jackson Cherry, executive director of The Preston. “By offering a range of enriching programs, personalized care, and exceptional services, we strive to create a vibrant community that supports our residents in pursuing their passions. We are excited to introduce Kisco’s values of excellence and innovation to the residents, associates, and families of The Preston.”
Located near Rockville's King Farm neighborhood, the community offers 141 modern residences designed for Assisted Living and Memory Care with amenities that enrich daily life. Residents can enjoy the beautifully landscaped Serenity Garden with a meditative labyrinth walk, an art studio, fitness center, full-service salon, and day spa. Further, The Preston’s culinary program, featuring chef-driven dining with fresh, high-quality ingredients, rivals Rockville’s finest restaurants. A robust calendar of activities, including exercise classes, community outings, and live entertainment, fosters an engaging and active lifestyle. Its prime location offers easy access to Rockville’s cultural venues, shopping, and dining, allowing residents to stay connected to the broader community. The Preston is now the third community in Kisco Senior Living’s expanding Washington, D.C. area portfolio.
“Kisco has been fortunate to expand our presence in the Washington, D.C. area in the past few years, allowing us to bring our approach to more residents and families,” said Andy Kohlberg, president and CEO of Kisco Senior Living. “With the addition of The Preston of Rockville to our portfolio, we continue our commitment to providing a boutique hospitality service. At Kisco we are focused on heart-led service where the Art of Living Well comes to life. We look forward to building on this momentum and deepening our impact in the region.”
