Dear Residents, Families, Associates, and friends of The Fountains:
In June, The Fountains had 7 associates test positive for COVID-19. These seven were the first cases of the Coronavirus in the community since the pandemic began. Thankfully all the associates used good hand hygiene and wore a face mask at all times while in the community. Because of this, the virus did not spread to any additional associates or to our residents. We have one of the seven associates that is still out awaiting test results but thankfully doing very well. All other associates have completed the required testing and have returned to work.
The Fountains is about to have our fourth round of all staff testing on Tuesday. We are following the state of Florida mandate requiring all staff be tested every two weeks. The results for theses test come back much quicker than other testings sites we’ve experienced locally, helping us to identify a potential problem quicker.
The community is in full swing combining dining in resident apartments while having a wide variety of activities in one of our many common areas locations. We also have many residents taking advantage of our beautiful outdoor areas with swimming, enjoying the garden or talking a walk on Cypress Trail, our 3/4 mile paved walking path. We are having a lot of fun while following all CDC guidelines and recommendations.
If you have never been to The Fountains please give us a call (321) 984-1494, we would love for you to experience our amazing community.
We operate guided by the CDC and are monitoring all residents and associates daily.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate through these unusual circumstances together.
Sandra Garutti, Executive Director
